Mighty Marvel Monday for July 9th 2012

Hello true believers, its time again for Marvel Mondays! Where the BOOM Page Comics Book emporium goes over some great Marvel news and goodies in the world and on the web.

The Amazing Spider-Man hits $62 Million Dollars opening weekend! The midnight premiere brought in $7.3 million dollars alone! Its total for the first week, $137million dollars, that's a whole lot of Thwipps!
This opening is bigger than The Dark Knight, Superman Returns and the revamped Hulk. But is anyone really surprised, Spidey is by far one of the most popular super heroes in the industry and a more family friendly Spider-Man probably had a whole lot more younger viewers than the scratchy throat of the Dark Knight.

Not just Spidey in the movies, the entire Marvel Universe is getting the reboot! Twenty two new titles including will be coming to the Marvel Universe, some of the confirmed titles are Avengers, said to be written by Jonathan Hickman with over 18 members on the team, X-Men, written by Brian Michael Bendis dealing with the original five X-Men time traveling to present day, and The Uncanny Avengers, which will have a roster including Cap, Wolverine, Thor, Rogue, Havok, and others. It appears that after the AvX story line the X-Men will no longer be the ugly kids in class of Marvel U and finally get the respect they deserve.
