Dark Knight Star visits Colorado Memorial and Victims

Christian Bale visits Colorado

By Kenneth Vasquez

Superman and Wonder Woman are not the only emissaries or goodwill embassadors of the DC Universe. As fearful and grim as he is, Batman too can reach out to those struck by tragedy and bring them confort.

Actor Christian Bale, along with his wife, Sibi Blazic, visited out of his own volition some of the victims of the Aurora, Colorado movie theater massacre, yesterday. While on site Bale spoke to some of the doctors, nurses, paramedics, first responders and police officers assisting those wounded in the vicious attack. Imagine the surprise some of the victims got when the star of THE DARK KNIGHT RISES walked into their rooms.

Carey Rottman, one of the wounded, was all smiles as Bale engaged him in a conversation and took a picture with him, which he quickly shared on his Facebook page. The staff was thrilled to have such a good hearted individual bring so much happiness and joy to everyone around him. Bale and his wife even payed his respects to the fallen in the shootings by placing flowers in a nearby memorial.

Despite his past bad boy image, Christian Bale has proven to be a real life KNIGHT.
